About the Author
Beth Fowler, the author of the books and inventor of the game, SUM-O, is an educator with over twenty-five years of experience working with young people. She is a wife and mother of two children. Beth has her Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Nebraska. She has served as a teacher, and a District Superintendent for non-profit organizations. She has been a foster mother and has been active in working with international students who are here in America.

Beth is a poet, who has turned some of her poems into the books offered by CARE-O. These products have been developed because of Beth's unchanging desire to present learning in a manner that is enjoyable to the learner.
​
Beth has a strong belief that young people really love to learn, and will absorb a great deal of information when it is presented to them in a manner that intrigues and motivates.
